In Week 6, you will select a writing topic from the provided list for your discussion prompt. Each week and each quarter, you will select a topic that you have not previously responded to in field experience.

This week, you will select a topic from the list and address the writing prompt from your theoretical orientation for your client population at your field sites. By posting your review of the topic, and by reading the posts of your colleagues, you are building out each other’s tackle boxes. By the end of your Field Experience, you and your colleagues will each have submitted a total of four different topics in which you have applied your counseling skills with clients at your approved field sites. In your post, make sure to: 

· Provide an overview of your topic selection 

· Provide a response through your chosen theoretical lens 

· Provide details regarding an example of an intervention/approach/course of action taken/to be taken to address your chosen topic

Taking into account your theoretical lens, discuss how you have navigated meeting the needs of the client with regards to sexuality counseling, attending specifically to addressing ethical, legal, developmental, and systemic barriers to service delivery.

Consider an example of implementing a collaborative/systemic approach to meet the needs of a client. Discuss how this approach integrates with your theoretical lens. Describe your approach and analyze how it met the specific needs of the client, taking into account both ethical and legal considerations.
